Today, it is not necessary to write a foreword for introducing MSC before the masses because within a short period of 3 years form its foundation on May 1, 2003 MSC has obtained a place in the hearts of the people. In the recent times many programmes have been taken by MSC; which have addressed many social problems. Without a purpose and aim MSC has not so far launched any programme. Without a thorough planning no activities were carried on so far. Thinking and planning are being done in conformity with the line of socialist revolution. MSC has not claimed that Marxism-Leninism has been fully acquired. We are acquiring the ability of applying Marxism-Leninism as little by little. The workers gradually realise that MSC is the only defender of Marxism-Leninism, Stalin-Mao thoughts from the enemies. The pseudo communists are shivering with rage while they are witnessing the masses approve the call of MSC. They cannot obstruct the flow of revolution with a bund made of sand. At the very moment its birth declared, the enemies of the people and the fascists are joined in hands to defeat MSC. They entered into a ‘holy alliance’ to exorcise the ‘spectre’ of MSC. When the people ignored their campaign of MSC being the organisation of ‘atheists’ the scandalmongers again appear with another gossip that MSC is a ‘Maoist’ organisation. We are fully convinced that such propaganda has a short life. Extremism and conspiracy have no place in Marxism. MSC is an organisation of revolutionaries. MSC cannot act as rented womb for giving birth to extremists. MSC creates new men for a socialist and communist society. From the democratic functions of MSC the people understand that Marxism is opposed to any from of terrorism. Who are responsible for the terrorist activities sponsored in the name of revolution in the pre and post era of our independence? In Kerala, many people had sacrificed their lives in the fake movements, namely, ‘Punnapra-Vayalar uprisings’ sponsored by the undivided CPI. The ‘Naxalbari uprising’ is another fake revolution in which many cadres were erroneously sacrificed. Even there were much sacrifices, such movements were utterly faced with defeat. Because they (pseudo communists) were not followed the correct political line which reflected the actual material conditions. The fake revolutions were planned by the pseudo communists in order to defraud the working class. The people are not in need of being taught by the renegade about the history. They are well aware of it. You cannot cheat then again.
Why is MSC formed? This question has historical importance. Our study has convinced that the Indian soil did not so far succeed in absorbing real Marxism. What the people of India got is spurious Marxism. Therefore, we took the great responsibility of studying and understanding the real Marxism. Without which the emancipation of the working class is a far cry. We realised at once that a mere wish cannot build up a genuine revolutionary party. A condition must be created as a prerequisite for the formation of such a party. For such a condition Marxism must be studied and widely propagated among the masses. It was the real path shown by Com. Lenin. Therefore, we began to work under a study centre with a name of MSC. MSC is not a party of masses but is an organisation of revolutionaries.
According to MSC the undivided CPI is not a communist party but a social democratic party. Why? The standpoint of a communist party is the standpoint of working class. Where as the stand point of a Social Democratic party is the standpoint of a petty bourgeois class. As a class, petty bourgeoisie is disintegrating. The interest of the petty bourgeoisie is not present but future. Their interests are changing moment by moment. They are moving between the bourgeois class and the working class. The petty bourgeois socialism is very dangerous to proletarian socialism. The undivided CPI began to work here at the time of freedom movement. India was a colonial country. The British rule started many industries in India. Railway, Postal and Telegraphs were introduced in India. While Britain doing such things in India, they were actually creating their gravediggers. A new proletarian class was created and organised. Along with the rise of the working class, a new bourgeois class began to emerge. The undivided CPI began to work in 1921. The two situations newly emerged paved the way for its formation. The first is the resultant effect of the First World War. The war crushed the life of the ordinary people. The second situation is the victory of the Russian working class in the October Socialist Revolution. Did the undivided CPI utilise such favourable conditions to become a revolutionary party for shaping the aspirations of the downtroddens? We will discuss it elaborately in the following paras. In the medieval period, the serfs who freed from the fetters of feudal lords escaped to the cities, forming a class of burgess. The earlier elements of capitalism rose from these burgess. The society kept growing and the market kept uninterrupted rising. The demand was also rising. But the production was not increased. The industrial production was controlled by the feudal guilds. It became a stumbling block to the further progress of the society. The industry was emancipated from the hands of guild masters. The manufacturing workshops came into fore. But the rising demand was not satisfied by the production in the workshops. Then appeared factory system with steam and modern machinery. The modern bourgeoisie emerged and become a financial and political force. In the middle age, they were suppressed by the feudal lord. Gradually they succeeded in forming urban self-government in cities. Against the local feudal lords, they served the monarchy as the third estate levying taxes. Finally, in wake of the establishment and victory of modern factories, the bourgeoisie established their rule in the form of modern democratic governments. They upheld the free trade and free competition.
We should understand the two stages of the development of the world bourgeoisie. From 1700 to 1900 marked the period of free competition. In this period, the capitalism was non-monopoly capitalism. No restriction both in the market and in the free flow of capital was imposed. But the period of 1900 marked a fundamental change in the world capitalism. The capitalism became monopoly capitalism. Before 1900, the capitalism was in the golden age. It was the progressive capitalism. But in the beginning of 20th Century, the world capitalism has entered into a new stage of development. This stage is known as monopoly capitalism or imperialism. Lenin described imperialism as the highest and last stage of development of capitalism. Therefore, Lenin called it as “moribund capitalism”. In the era of world imperialism, the proletarian revolution became inevitable. Therefore, the era of imperialism is the era of proletarian revolutions. Marx and Engels, the founding fathers of Marxism, led their revolutionary activities in the period of non-monopoly capitalism. In the period, the proletarian revolution did not become an inevitable event. It was the period of preparation of the working for the coming revolution. Lenin worked in the imperialist period. The condition existed in the period is conducive to the victory of proletarian revolution.
Imperialism widened the capitalist crises. Without depending on wars the imperialist bourgeoisie cannot escape from the crises. Therefore, war is inevitable in the period of imperialism. How the crises affected the working class? The bourgeoisie should find out a way out of the crises by putting the weight of the crises faced by the class upon the shoulders of the workers. Their life becomes misery. They will become jobless. Production will be decreased. Wages will be curtailed. In this juncture, the only way out before the working class is the declaration of revolution against their own bourgeoisie.
In the period of free competition, bourgeoisie grows evenly. But in the period of imperialism, it grows unevenly. Due to the unevenness, at first, where the revolution is broken out is in the weakest link to the chain of world imperialism.
At the time of national movement against the colonial rule of Britain, the principal contradiction was in between the British colonial forces and the whole people. The people consist of big bourgeoisie, the patriotic bourgeoisie, working class and the entire peasantry. The Indian bourgeoisie has been divided into two stratums. Tata, Birla belonged to the Big Bourgeoisie. The Indian National Congress represented the big bourgeoisie. The big bourgeoisie could not become uncompromising force against imperialism and feudalism. Therefore, INC, the political instrument of big bourgeoisie, launched movement on the basis of compromising line. But the patriotic bourgeoisie possessed the revolutionary character which were represented by various revolutionary organisations. The martyrs from Bhagat Singh to Subash Chandra Bose were the representatives of the patriotic bourgeoisie. The patriotic bourgeoisie or the national bourgeoisie adopted uncompromising stand against imperialism and feudalism. Before attaining political freedom the big bourgeoisie achieved the character of the monopoly capitalism. Therefore, they wanted only power transfer from the Britain. They compromised with the cultural, political and economical aspirations of foreign imperialism and Indian feudalism.
The undivided CPI failed to note the distinguishing features of the big bourgeoisie and the patriotic bourgeoisie. Therefore, they become confused as to who would lead the bourgeois democratic revolution, bourgeoisie or working class. If they understood the kernel of Marxism that the concrete analysis of concrete condition, they would not adopt the political line of National Democratic Revolution. Com. Lenin formulated a thesis regarding the freedom struggle in colonies. Lenin emphasised that the bourgeois class could not lead the democratic revolution for they had lost its progressive nature. Because, the world capitalism became imperialism and they understood that their political supremacy would challenge by working class. The world capitalism witnessed the rise of the working class into political power in Russia. Therefore, Lenin taught that from now onwards the democratic revolutions in colonies were the part of the world proletarian revolutions. The working class must usurp the leadership of the democratic revolution. Lenin dropped the theory of equal leadership in the democratic revolutions. But the undivided CPI did not give any importance to the words of Lenin and in order to serve the Indian bourgeoisie they did not introduce any change to their political line. They continued their political struggle on the basis of National Democratic Revolution. The theory is nothing but the reflection of the fear of the Indian bourgeoisie. The Indian bourgeoisie wanted to crush the leadership of the working class in the freedom struggle. This shows that the undivided CPI worked for protecting the interest of the bourgeoisie not the interest of working class. They wanted to clear the path for the coronation of the Indian bourgeoisie.
Under the British colonial rule the big bourgeoisie had obtained advantages through compromising struggle and bargaining. The big bourgeoisie wanted nothing but transfer of political power. The undivided CPI absolutely denied the actual nature and interest of the big bourgeoisie. They also kept the truth in secret that the big bourgeoisie developed into monopoly capitalism and therefore, they could not fight against Britain with a national outlook. Before getting political freedom, the big bourgeoisie succeeded in maintaining international economic relations. When Muslim league has risen the slogan of separate nation, the undivided CPI supported them. It was a clash between the big capitalists. Those big capitalists belonging to the Muslim community feared their counterpart belonging to Hindu community. Here we again see that the so-called communists upheld the interest of the bourgeois class. They must have stood with the people and the interest of the working class.
According to MSC, the bourgeoisie became the ruling class in 1947. In that sense the democratic revolution fully completed. From onwards it is not Marxism to divide the bourgeois class into monopoly or big bourgeoisie and national bourgeoisie in a country where the state apparatus are controlled by the imperialist-capitalist class. Therefore, the stage of Indian revolution changed from democratic revolution to socialist revolution. Through a split CPI(M) came out from undivided CPI in 1964. But they failed to realise the fallacy of the democratic revolutionary line of CPI. They made some modifications in the theory. The CPI(M) placed proletariat in the leadership in the place of bourgeoisie in the democratic revolution. They retained the peasantry as whole as an ally. They put veil on the class struggle in the agrarian sector. But their theory of Peoples’ Democratic Revolution, they became renegade and continuing their service to the bourgeois class. In 1967 CPI(M.L) came out of the CPI(M) by a split in the party. They imitated Chinese revolutionary tactics blindly and imposed upon the objective condition which is entirely different from the Chinese circumstances. Instead of socialist revolution they have raised the slogan of neo-democratic revolution. What they did by such imitation is that they blemished the reputation of Com. Mao, the great leader of the world proletariat. There is no fundamental difference between CPI(M) and CPI(M.L).
The important question before each revolution is the question of state power. The principal contradiction of the society determines the class nature of the state. The contradiction between the bourgeoisie and the proletariat is the principal contradiction. It is true that there are remnants of feudalism in the agrarian sector. But the principal contradiction in the rural areas is the contradiction between the rich peasants and the poor landless peasants. Capitalism encroached in the agrarian sector and, in the main, established the capitalist relations of production. Without the proletariat in the leadership, the peasantry alone cannot make the revolution as success. They find out justification in the numerical statistics that farmers are in majority than workers in numbers. To accept such numerical statistics is negation of Marxism. Lenin gave reply to the Narodinik long years back. Again repeat the fallacy is the revisionism of Marxism-Leninism. Why does CPI (M.L) continue to stick on the false theory? Indian state is not a feudal state because the principal contradiction of the Indian society is the contradiction between bourgeois class and proletarian class. The victory of proletarian revolution will do away with the remnants of feudalism in the agricultural sector.
The peasants in India resorted to suicide. In recent years it is doubled. Why? On the one hand agricultural market is controlled by the rich peasants. On the other, the banks exploit them with exorbitant interest. Is it not that the relation of production in the agrarian sector is the capitalist relation of production? The small-scale production in the small area with the finance of bank cannot withstand the pressure from the rich peasants. There is no feudal lord to exploit the landless-poor and lower middle class peasants.
Imperialism is a global phenomenon. Lenin said that the world chain of imperialism had been established. The Indian imperialist bourgeoisie is the part of world imperialism. Therefore, the Indian ruling class, as their class interest will join hands with world imperialism. But it is equally wrong to forget it that there exists contradiction between the world imperialism and the Indian imperialism. While forgetting the contradiction of Indian imperialism with world imperialism, the parties such as CPI(ML), etc. depict them as comprador bourgeoisie.
The strength or weakness has no consideration in the scientific investigation of imperialism. The main character of imperialism is the export of finance capital. The examination must be centered round the question whether the Indian capitalism acquired the character of imperialism. It is immaterial whether Indian imperialism is small or big when compared with world powers. It will soon be understood that the Indian imperialism attained the stage of financial oligarchy by the fusion of industrial capital and bank capital. Financial capital which is a product of industrial capital and bank capital is the capital of Indian imperialist classes. Indian financial capital is invested in foreign countries in joint ventures as well as independently. Therefore, the Neo-Democratic Revolution of the ‘Naxalites’ is a fake theory. They propagated the false belief that the revolutionary mass movement can be built up by the adventuristic action of individuals. This false belief undermines the spirit of Marxism-Leninism. Com. Che clearly showed us that without mass support a Guerrilla war cannot be victorious. We say that without a correct revolutionary theory the Guerrilla war cannot be victorious. MSC has an opinion that Guerrilla war is not applicable in all occasions. Indian imperialism is the competition in the world market.
Though RSP upholds the Socialist Revolution as their basic political line, it became a social democratic party. Why? There are two reasons. One, their allegiance is towards Trotskyism. The second is that they negated the ally of poor peasants in Socialist Revolution. RSP deliberately avoided Lenin’s teachings on the socialist revolution. In backward countries, the proletarian revolution cannot be won without the firm assistance from landless poor peasants.
In olden days, at the beginning of capitalism the industries received loans from individuals or banks. But today, the capital of banks is not created only by interests alone. It is originated today with fusion of industrial capital and bank capital. This phenomenon is known as financial oligarchy. Finance capital is the capital of imperialism which are exported into other countries market.
Imperialist globalisation is the new strategy of world imperialism to explore new markets for financial capital. It is aimed at destroying state capitalism in the backward countries like India. The bourgeois states established some industries with the aid of state revenues. These public ventures extended some benefits to the ordinary people. The market crisis instigated the world imperialist powers to capture such vast market controlled by the popular governments. The Indian globalization extends equal opportunities to the global and home investors to capture such markets. The Indian governments, Central or State, sold their markets to the investment robbers. Eg. Education, Health, Transportation, etc. They are privatising public sectors. Therefore, the policy of globalisation is crushing the life of the toiling people. The revolutionary circumstances are approaching. We should be prepared to give correct leadership to such tidal movements. Globalisation widens the crisis. Therefore, the existence of the moribund capitalism will be threatened. The pseudo leftists know these factors. They come forward with alternative economical methods to save the bourgeoisie from the ruin. The working class must realise the fake dramas of the pseudo communists. The only way before the working class is the democratic and revolutionary movementsto be cultivated and organised. Immediately their own bourgeoisie must be kicked out of the power with socialist revolution. The state must be smashed. The proletarian dictatorship must be established through the revolutionary committees of workers and poor peasants. We appeal to the people that revolutionary popular committee be formed to lead the mass movements. Agitation is the only remedy to withstand aggression of peoples’ enemies.
We are in the firm belief that the present activities initiated by MSC will create the vanguard of Marxist revolutionaries ready to act in any unfavourable situations. We consider and give importance to such activities conducted by MSC as the preparation for revolution. We are appealing to the people for their support to the activities launched by MSC. The enemies are planning to inflict onslaught on the people. The enemies of the people try to permeate in them evil ideas of racism, fascism, and revisionism. Because, for the victory of the peoples’ enemies plan, they will imbibe the reactionary ideas. Without the peoples’ support an evil idea that is, racism or fascism or revisionism cannot sustain. Therefore, MSC is propagating the ideology of working class in order to develop this political consciousness which is essential to construct peoples’ defense. As we have seen in 1975 in the rule of Smt. Gandhi, the State will uncover its democratic veil at any time. The state terrorism will pounce upon the people. We have seen the disaster of state terrorism in the emergency period.
MSC stands for the emancipation of the working class from the fetters of the bourgeoisie. MSC is invincible. Because, MSC is guided by Marxism-Leninism. Marxism- Leninism is invincible. Because it is true. We appeal to the people to understand the politics of MSC on the basis of your experience and eliminate the revisionist and social democratic fake ideas of so-called leftists which are stumbling blocks for a new society without class exploitation. Other philosophies only interpreted the world. Marxism-Leninism is the only philosophy which stands for the change of the existing world. Long Live Revolution Long Live Marxism-Leninism, Stalin-Mao Thoughts

I was very curious at the outset since I share many of the opinions you expressed. But what made me disappointed is that you didn't put forward any concrete action plan. Anyway, I consider your observations are great so that it would lead us to action even it is a bit late.
